Once you're happy with the plan, we handle all bookings including your Uganda Wildlife Authority gorilla permits. All you need to do is pack and fly.

What is gorilla trekking and what does it involve?
Gorilla trekking is a guided hike into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to find and spend one hour with a habituated gorilla family. Groups are limited to 8 people per family. The trek can range from 30 minutes to several hours. It's widely considered one of the most profound wildlife encounters on earth.
How much does a gorilla permit cost?
A Uganda gorilla trekking permit costs $800 per person for one hour with a gorilla family. A gorilla habituation experience (a full day) costs $1,500 per person and allows only 4 visitors at a time. We secure all permits on your behalf once the booking is confirmed.
When is the best time to visit Uganda?
The best times are the dry seasons: June to August and December to February. Trails are more accessible and conditions more comfortable. That said, gorilla trekking happens year-round — the forest is always extraordinary.
Can I combine Uganda with Kenya or Tanzania?
Absolutely. We specialise in multi-country East Africa circuits. Start with gorilla trekking in Uganda, then head to the Masai Mara or the Serengeti. We handle everything across all three countries seamlessly — one point of contact, one unforgettable trip.
